‘Dil Ka Kia Rang Karoon’ is an adaptation of Tennessee Williams’s play ‘The Glass Menagerie’, generally regarded to be one of the masterpieces of 20th century drama.

Amazingly enough, it is a poignant study of our own milieu also. It is a play about tenderness and its absence, about parenthood & its meaning, about the web of expectations that we weave only to be suffocated by it. It is a play about brittle dreams, shattered by a single knock.

What do mothers want from their daughters & sons? What do the children want from their mothers? Above all, it is a play about the delicacy and fragility of human relationships.
