The play 'The Man on a Black Horse is a play about the search for inspiration,  love, loss and life.

Written by Rouvan Mahmud (actor/director, the Pillowman) and Ali Junejo (winner at the Lithuanian film festival)

Based on the works of Rumi (masnawi), Ferdowsi (shahnameh), it is an expressionistic and absurdist play in three movements of reality, madness and revelation.

Starring both writers (Rouvan and Ali) and New York film festival winner Meher Jaffri, the play is a splendid mixture of Theatre of Absurdity as well as Theatre of Cruelty.
